Burke Ortho began when Dr. Burke “hung his shingle” in the summer of 2010. Coming from humble circumstances, he was pretty excited to hear that his wife’s cousin was a free lance graphic artist and web developer. He was even more excited when he learned that they were willing to help design the first Burke Ortho logo and website for next to nothing. Their generosity and kindness will be forever appreciated, however in the summer of 2014, Dr. Burke knew that the time had come for the Burke Ortho brand to undergo a complete makeover.

Dr. Burke wanted to create a brand that clearly illustrated his philosophy of moving forward, of doing everything possible to become your best self. To that end, he employed Adam Mead and his team at Yogg, one of the most creative and innovative branding companies in America. Based out of Richmond, Virginia, Adam and his team visited St. George, UT and spent several days interviewing Dr. Burke, his family, and his Burke Ortho Team. They also conducted surveys of the Burke Ortho patients, and did market analyses of the area. After several weeks of revisions and back and forth to make sure that everything was just perfect, Dr. Burke knew they had hit a home run when Yogg showed him the logo and brand that embodies everything that he believes in, with regards to improving toward our best self.
Together with cool, bright colors the Burke Ortho icon has an athletic and vibrant feel. The arrow pointing to the right indicates movement in a forward direction, while the B inside the shield indicates strength.
