When we heard that Maranda Carlile, one of our awesome patients, was running in the Boston Marathon, we just had to do what we could to help her FEEL how proud we were of her. Maranda had worked so hard to train and qualify for the Boston Marathon and because our patients are like family to us, we were overflowing with pride and excitement for her amazing accomplishment!

We decided to surprise her with a “swag bag” of running necessities, as well as Burke Ortho tshirts for her and all her friends that were also running the marathon. Then, we set up a dinner at an Italian Restaurant in Boston the night before the race for her and her friends to make sure they got all the carbs and protein they would need to do their best!

Maranda, we are so proud of all your hard work and this tremendous accomplishment! Thank you for inspiring us to move forward and work toward becoming our best.
