How amazing does our patient and good friend, Lucas, look with his fresh new smile?!
Luke started treatment with us about 2 1/2 years ago. We made a goal to correct his severe deep bite by extracting a set of upper premolars. As discussed in another post, sometimes it is in the patient’s best interest to have one set of the identical premolars removed. In Luke’s case, removing two teeth in the maxilla, provided space to bring his top teeth together. With the extractions, and Luke’s help wearing elastics, we were able to bring his upper and lower arch together, correct his alignment, and reduce his deep bite.
We are so happy for Lucas and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes with his new smile! Luke, thank you for Smiling forward.
