We recently had the wonderful opportunity to help our friends over at Fossil Ridge Intermediate School. Their Lego League Robotics Team was competing in the State Lego League competition this past weekend, and they asked if we could help them with a project. They wanted to show the judges that 3D printing is being used in the dentistry/orthodontic field. We 3D printed them a set of upper and lower teeth models, and included a set of retainers that fit the models. With these models the team was able to show the judges how technology is being used in the orthodontic field.
The robotics team did an awesome job and they even won the award for having the best research project! We were so glad that we could help them out at their competition!
