This month we had the opportunity to honor one of Crimson View’s teachers, Ms. Rex! We had many essays submitted, but Brooklyn Nielson’s caught our eye! As soon as we read it, we knew we had to thank Ms. Rex for all that she does to make her classroom a fun and friendly learning environment. We were excited to bring her and the class cookies to celebrate! We love reading all of the essays that are submitted and we have so much fun helping students show their appreciation to their teachers.
Here is the essay from Brooklyn Nielson:
My fourth grade teacher’s name in Ms. Rex. She is always energetic when she teaches math, reading, or anything. One thing I know about Ms. Rex is she loves my class. She tells us she loves us everyday! My teacher was a new teacher this year and I want to really welcome her into Crimson View Elementary. See how cool Ms. Rex is?! ( best fourth grade teacher, like, ever!)
Whenever she teaches something, like math, she always talks loud and exited. She loves it when my class answers questions. She never gets like, volcano mad. She is always so loving and kind and really helpful to my class. She is just the best in every way and she is very energetic. I love when she is like that.
Whenever we come to class she always says in a loud or soft and loving voice, “I love you guys”. And when we are being really good she says in a quiet voice, when we are in the hall, “You guys are the best class in the school”. Sometimes she likes to give us some jelly bellies for answering questions. Not every teacher does that. I just know that when she tells us she loves us she really does mean it.
When I was in 3rd grade my 3rd grade teacher moved to a different school and Ms. Rex took that room so she has only been in my school for only a couple months. I really want to make her feel loved, and appreciated at my school. Like in the 2nd paragraph I wrote, we tell her we love her too. If we think that Ms. Rex is the best teacher, I want to show it, and I think that my teacher should get an award. She deserves it!
See how amazing my teacher is? My class has longed for a piece of pizza! My teacher needs more bandages and even maybe some pencils too. I do not want to be greedy but my teacher would really appreciate this. I really do not want to be the hero in my class, I just want to be a good helper, and I LOVE my teacher. Oh, and I forgot to say one thing……. YOU’RE THE BEST ORTHODONTIST EVER!
Brooklyn Nielson, your best patient;)
I think we can all agree on the last line of the letter right? Thank you so much Ms. Rex for all you do!
